Force Organization:
0-1_Elite
0-2_Troops
0-1_Fast Attack
Special Characters: Any
(Including Imperial Armor)
Special Rules:
Every Man For Himself: All models operate as individual units in this mission, even if they were chosen as part of a squad or squadron. In addition, when a model shoots or fights in an assault it may split its attacks up amongst any eligible targets if desired.
Specialist Troopers: Each Player is allowed to pick up to three (3) models in their army as being “specialists” that benefit from one of the universal special rules in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook (special characters are not allowed to be specialists). Every specialist must select a different special rule. You may not give more than one special rule to each model. Yes it is possible to give vehicles special rules as long as the vehicle can carry out every aspect of the rule. (ex. Rage special rule doesn’t work for vehicles due to the fact that a vehicle can’t assault. However Tank Hunter special rule will.)
Game Length & Victory Conditions: The battle continues until one side has been reduced to half its starting number of models or less. Once a player’s army has been reduced to “half strength” he must take a leadership test at the start of his turns; if he fails the test then his army flees and the other player wins the battle. If the test is passed then the battle continues, but the player will have to another test at the start of his next turn.
Modifiers: the leadership test is always taken using the highest leadership of any of the players surviving models. Apply a –1 modifier to the second test that a player has to take, a –2 to the third, and so on.
Note: it is entirely possible for both players to have to take leadership tests at the start of their turns and that the first one to fail will lose the battle.
Mission objective:
Defenders: Defend the fuel station at all costs if you loose it, the wars on many distant planets may suffer.
Attacker: You must eliminate the fuel station. If the opposing forces are allowed to keep such a precious commodity many more of your battle brothers could die.

Designers Note:
This mission is designed for elite recon units from your army so think about that when you make your list, a dreadnought is not very stealthy.
Additionally, just because you won the game in mission #1 does not mean you completed the mission. Be very careful, every thing you do in this campaign affects you later.

Evil Hat Productions Brings The World of Harry Dresden To Life With The Dresden Files Role Playing Game
Silver Spring, Maryland (January 26, 2010) - After 4 years in the making, Evil Hat Productions is not only pleased but proud to officially announce The Dresden Files Role Playing Game (RPG) will release at the Origins Game Fair, June 23, 2010. Fred Hicks, one of the founding partners of Evil Hat, said, “Stars and stones! This project has been a labor of love for a great many people for a few years now. The thought of sharing these books with people, getting them in their hands, and having people role playing in the Dresden-verse is making me all misty.”
The Dresden Files RPG is based upon the wildly popular series of books by New York Times best selling author Jim Butcher. With eleven books published in the series, and Changes, the 12th book set to release on April 6, 2010, the Evil Hat crew had a wealth of characters and plot to draw from. “When Jim came to us a few years back, and asked us if we wanted to work on a role playing game based on his books, it took us about a millisecond to say ‘yes!’ He has been one of our biggest supporters on the project, and is just wonderful to work with” said Hicks.
Hicks went on to say, “We based The Dresden Files RPG on the ’Fate’ game system we used on the award-winning Spirit of the Century. We took everything we learned from Spirit, and then updated, revised, play-tested, and fine-tuned it to produce an experience that closely matches the novels themselves. That experience is also defined by the wealth of background we were able to add to the game from Jim’s amazing stories, including a comprehensive look at all the characters and creatures from the first ten books. We are sure that along with being a phenomenal game, it will also be a fantastic resource for fans of the books.”
“Originally, we were planning to do this game in a single volume. As time went on and word count grew…so did the amount of flat-out awesome we knew we had on our hands. And so our game grew out of the confines of one book, into two gorgeous volumes,” Hicks added.
